RSS Telangana Press Meet on nationwide developments and Resolution on Jehadi activities in Bengal

Sri Aekka Chandrashekar ji, pranth karyavah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Telangana, has said over the last 5-6 years, there is a continuous growth in the Sangh shakhas. As compared to last year, in the 2017 year the number of Shakhas in the entire country has gone up to 57233 at 36693 places. The work is going on at 59136 places including shakha, weekly Milan, and Sangh Mandali taken altogether. In Telangana, 2302 shakhas are running in 1495 places. 370 Saptahik milans.

Sri Shekar ji was addressing the press meet held at Keshava Nialyam, Barkatpura, Hyderabad today in view of the recently concluded Akhil Bharatiya Prathinidi Sabha (ABPS) , All India National Council Meet, at Coimbatore, Tamilnadu on March 19, 20 and 21.

Currently, 1,70,700 service activities are being run by swayamsevaks and RSS inspired organisations across the country. In Telangana, 1108 service activities are running.

Shekar ji also added that by end of 2017, they had a target to reach 3000 shakas in the Telangana.

On road map of expanding Sangh work in state, he said we are planning to reach 3000 shakas by the end of 2017. Recently, over 15000 people participated in the programs like Vivek Band and 5K Run with the theme of ‘Save Girl Child’ undertaken by swayamsevaks without any celebrity presence.

The RSS Telangana Sanghachalak (state president) Sri P. Venkateshwar Rao ji said the activities of Sangh are growing in right direction and people are joining RSS with enthusiasm.

In addition to the review of the Sangh for the year 2016-17, a resolution passed at ABPS was released to the media expressing its concern on the growing Jehadi activities in West Bengal and how it becoming a challenge to national interests.
