Arun Tiwariji, speaking at Balagukulam Bharat (Hyderabad chapter) Varshikotsav 2017

Former President APJ Abdul Kalam’s life teaches us that anybody who has imagination, who is pious and has faith in God, can achieve success in life. Our nation needs many more lady Kalams and initiative like Balagokulams have intrinsic strength to produce many more Kalams, said Arun Tiwariji who co-authored five books with the former President of the country.

Speaking at Balagukulam Bharat (Hyderabad chapter) Varshikotsav 2017 on 10 December, the co-author of Wings of Fire urged children to imagine the kind of future they want for themselves and work hard to achieve their goal. Lord Krishna does not give anybody anything unless they are pure from the body, mind and heart. Have faith in God. If we do good work, he will surely take care of us.

This year a total of 65 Balagokulams were enrolled and the event was conducted at three regions of Hyderabad. The events witnessed more than 1200 children harmoniously recite the revered spiritual guide, The Bhagvad Gita (Chapter 6 first 20 shlokas).

In the same event, Telangana Prant Prachar Pramukh Ayush Nadimpalli ji said that the concept of Balagokulam is to learn to do things together. We may be good individually but we should learn to work in team.  The moral of Bharath, which was once at the pinnacle of its glory, has gone low recently. We have lost our confidence. It is experiments like Balagokulam, Sangh and Sangh inspired organizations which are trying to build the moral of the nation once again.

Ayush ji

Bharat has solutions to many of the problems faced by humanity globally but unless Bharat is confident and strong enough, we cannot give solution to the world. Balagokulam is trying to build that morale in the next generation.

Children performed artistically over several stage acts in the forms of pradarshans, songs, dances, skits, yoga. The theme was set to be based on showcasing talent on the cultural and nationalistic values and diversity our country holds. They have been raising the bar every year with their creativity.

In the Varshikotsav of Gachibowli zone, conducted on 3rd December, Telangana Prant Pracharak Devender Reddy ji said we have a lot to learn from the life of Shri Krishna.  He taught us how to lead a life through his life. We should not be selfish and always remember we belong to this society and its our responsibility to think about the growth of the society as well apart from individual growth.

He urged children to visit the slums and help them out in the ways they can. He revealed that there is a plan to start a new initiative called ‘Kishore vikas’ which will be separate for both girls and boys.

Ace Badminton player Sai Praneeth, Chairman of GNITS Shri Subba Reddy ji and young entrepreneur Shri Kiran Biligiri ji (founder of Biligiri Hotels), also graced the occasions and inspired children to inculcate habit of selfless service towards the nation.
