For improving the rampart and retaining wall of Shri Ramjanmabhoomi Temple as per Vastu and to keep the walkway accessible to the pilgrims in the east and west direction of the temple complex and for the security of the temple complex as well, it is necessary to acquire some houses and some small temples as well, in the vicinity. Land is being acquired for the said purpose and also for the purpose of giving replacement land, as compensation from whom the land is being acquired in the vicinity of the temple.

This act of buying and selling is being done on the basis of mutual discussion and formal written consent.

Payments for Court Fee and Stamp Papers is being done online. The purchase of land is being done on the basis of the written consent letters and the proceeds are accordingly being transferred online to the sellers’ accounts.

On 9 November 2019, after the Supreme Court’s verdict on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, many people from across the country have started coming to Ayodhya to buy land. The Uttar Pradesh government too is buying large amounts of land for the all-round development. The land parcel which has come under media glare is a priced parcel near railway station.

The land that Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra has acquired so far has been bought at a price much less than open market price.

For the purchase of the said land, the current sellers have, at a price which was decided upon an year ago via a registered agreement , signed a contract on 18th of march, 2021, via a Deed of agreement.

The campaign by few politicos in this regard is motivated with malice and is aimed at misleading the society.
