Telugu, English books published in Telangana released at World Book Fair 2018, New Delhi

Samvit Kendra and Navayuga Bharati of Hyderabad (Telangana) got their books released at New Delhi World Book Fair 2018 on 8th January (Monday).

This book relase programme was presided by Sri Rajendra Chadda of Pragna Pravah Parishad and Sri Shakti Sinha, director of Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, was the chief guest of the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Rahul Shastri, retired lecturer of Osmania University, Hyderabad, explained on how Samvit Kendra felt compelled about the need of bringing the reality and sufferings of people during the Nizam raj to the notice of wider readership and that is why he had taken the work of translating the original “Hyderabad Ka Mukthi Sangram” written in Hindi by Sri Khanderao Kulkarni.

After releasing the book titled as “Liberation Struggle of Hyderabad”, Sri Rajendra ji  asserted on the importance of reading the events of history mentioned in the book and passing it to future generations.

Releasing the “Useful  and Interesting Anecdotes” by Sri Sakti Sinha emphasized on the effectiveness of stories in moulding the character and applauded the work done by author late Sri Mannava Giridhar Rao.

Dr Vaddi Vijaya Sarathi, editor of Navayuga Bharati publications, gave an apprisal of the books being released.

 

Sri Shakti Sinha and Sri Bharat, Gen Secretary of Akhila Bharatiya Adhivakta Parishad released the books titled as  “Ambedkar: The Great Mission in Making India”, Telugu books – “Manamu Bhoomi Paryavaranam (మనమూ భూమి పర్యావరణం); Rastra Sevika Sodari Nivedita (రాష్ట్ర సేవిక సోదరి నివేదిత); Isreal vimukthilo bharata sainikula virochita samaram. (ఇజ్రాయిల్ విముక్తి లో భారత సైనికుల వీరోచిత సమరం);

Sri Rajendra Chadda felicitated Sri Rahul Shastri for his translation of Liberation Struggle of Hyderabad.

The function came to close with the vote of thanks proposed by Sri V. RajaGopal, Managar of Sahitya Niketan ( Hyderabad).
